Every dollar you donate goes to procure the essential medications and supplies required before, during and after surgery—including the sight-saving intraocular lenses that replace the patients’ damaged natural lenses. Your contribution to the Foundation plays a direct role in restoring the precious gift of vision to someone in need.

In fact, every $100 contributed to the Foundation will restore sight to one eye that has experienced visual loss due to cataracts. It’s true: The gift of sight for as little as $100! It is an extraordinary return on investment—and one that makes an instant and meaningful difference.

Through your tax deductible donation, you can help insure not only the continuation of Mission Cataract, but also the expansion of our commitment to include all forms of treatable blindness. In 2012, we performed our first corneal transplant procedure, free of charge, to a truly deserving patient. We have since performed additional corneal transplants on a case-by-case basis, only made possible through the support of our donors.
